The skills sessions is open to all players and will focus on all stick skills such as passing, shooting, dodging, and ground balls. Players will learn college level drills that focus on the all around skills needed to be a successful lacrosse athlete. In addition, specialty coaching for goalies and face off athletes will be available for a more individualized experience.
- The first part of the clinic program will focus on player development of team offensive and defensive skills around the cage and in the “hole”. Athletes will develop their tight passing, shooting, and defensive skills based on the “Box” style of the game, that more and more college coaches are practicing.
- The second part of the clinic program will focus on the full field passing, shooting, and dodging aspects of the game in a bigger space at the Kennedy Field house. Here the focus will be on using the entire space to mimic the full field aspects of the games. Additionally, it is a great space to focus on outlets and clearing for the goalies!
The skills program focuses on developing the complete player who is ready to make an impact anywhere on the field!
