Stephen Duffy

Steve Duffy is currently an elementary school Principal in Waltham. Prior to this, he was a house master and teacher at Waltham High School for 23 years. While in Waltham, he coached the varsity lacrosse team for 18 years and founded Waltham Youth Lacrosse in 1994. During that time, he lead Waltham to the State Finals in 2005 and the State Semi-Finals in 2001. In 1999, he received the Boston Globe and Eastern Massachusetts Lacrosse Coaches Association Coach of the Year Awards. He has also been the Metro West Coach of the year twice in 2001 and 2005. He is a member of the Waltham High School Hall of Fame.

In 2009, Duffy was named an Assistant Coach for the Boston Cannons. In 2011, his final year as an assistant with the Cannons, they were crowed MLL Champions. In 2012, he was named the Head Coach of the Cannons and led them to the playoffs in his inaugural season. He finished his stint with Cannons in 2013 with a recorded of 10-10. He then went on to coach for the New York Lizards as an assistant and won another MLL championship in 2015.
